Our story began serendipitously at a Neway Debebe concert—one of Henok's all-time favorite Ethiopian artists. The music was incredible, but Henok was more focused on making sure he got Elshu's number before the night ended. Mission accomplished.

He wasted no time asking her out on an official date, and from that moment on, we've been inseparable. Well, inseparable in the best way where you actually like spending time together.

We both love to travel, though let's be honest: Elshu is the queen of planning trips, and Henok is just happy to be the lucky dumbo who gets to tag along. Japan and Jamaica are among our favorites so far, but we're always ready for the next adventure.

When we're not exploring the world, you'll find us enjoying the simple things: cooking together, binge-watching movies, relaxing at home, and occasionally making time for friends. Life with each other is our favorite place to be.
